OUR PUBLIC AFFAIRS PEOPLE
ADRIAN PEPPER Our public affairs team is led by Adrian Pepper, who is expert in devising and
implementing strategies to persuade government, regulators and businesses to take account of his clients’ views on public
policy. He has held a range of paid and voluntary political appointments in Westminster, Whitehall, Brussels, party
headquarters and ‘in the field’ on election campaigns across the world.
Adrian has run numerous successful lobbying campaigns in Westminster and Brussels. As a Special Adviser to the last
Conservative Government who has himself stood twice for election to Parliament, he understands the approach and motivations
of MPs. Many of his former colleagues and friends now occupy senior positions in Parliament and in Europe.
Adrian is the author of several publications on public policy, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and holds a degree
in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University. He is married to his colleague Sam Pepper, with whom he has
two young children. He is a keen skier, golfer and squash player. Adrian can be contacted at

WHAT OTHERS SAY
"Adrian can hold his own with anyone and knows how to get the best out of people. He is cool under pressure and well
suited to the big occasion - as you would expect from a former Cabinet special adviser."
Kevin Bell, Managing Director, Fleishmann Hillard
"Adrian Pepper provided strategic consultancy to us on one of our most important initiatives: NIKE Girls in Sport. Adrian
was instrumental in guiding us through our discussions with ministers and senior civil servants and secured us high profile
opportunities to lobby both through Government, think tanks and the House of Commons. Adrian was always an energetic and
committed member of our team. I valued his ideas and his advice throughout our period working together."
Dermott Cleary, Marketing Director, NIKE
"At the BBC Pepper took the opportunity to show what he was made of. Grilled by David Dimbleby, he conducted himself with
the assurance of one who had been at it for years."
Daily Telegraph, Peterborough Column
"Your knowledge and expertise in relation to PR and parliamentary process
was, quite frankly, invaluable and we would not have been able to make our
case with anything like the same degree of impact without your input."
David Burnip, Chief Executive, Forest Heath District Council, Suffolk
